9-240 (28/8/22) -- Disruptions Outdoors

Sun shone most of the day and it was pleasantly warm and not humid. Tomorrow things will change back to less comfortable weather.

I worked at editing tasks. These always take longer than I think it will. I had hoped for two hours for one task and it took three. Not as far off as usual, so I should take that as a win, right? <smile> Much lawn mowing has occurred near the house for most of the morning -- like early on a weekend morning when I planned to have a lie in <sigh>. It happened again in the late afternoon into early evening. So it has been somewhat unpleasant in my quiet (at least in the summer) neighbourhood. Some mowers are much louder than others and today must have been their day because it was very loud out there for extended periods of time.

A line from a song came to mind as I was lamenting the decibel level outside. It made me laugh. I'll share that song here tonight as it fits my day in many ways. I love this demo version by the young (at the time) songwriter. Keep safe. Enjoy!
