Monday brought a sunny day. Temperatures were warmer and a bit more humid than the past three days, but forecasts note the coming few days will bring more uncomfortable hot days. I spent the day indoors doing housework and reading some documents for the new phone and such. It kept me occupied, but it felt like little had been accomplished.
Several things must be finished this week. I've been working away at a few of them and deadlines are looming. Some of these items require input from others, so that adds to the stress. One is a lot like herding cats -- it can be done, but takes a lot of prodding and coordinating. <sigh> Similar projects have always worked out well, but not without a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth. To deal with the anxiety, I went for a walk in the early evening. The air had cooled and felt pleasant. I took my tunes with me, too. It all helped me to relax a bit.
A song came to mind with lyrics that speak to walking and music. Keep safe. Enjoy!
