The day felt colder than the past couple of days. During my walk this afternoon, there were some sunny breaks but mostly cloudy. Walking felt relaxing; it helps me take deep breaths. I found myself smiling at times with memories.
Laughter can be sought out for ourselves and shared with others. This helps us with the tension release of a big uncontrolled laugh. It isn't just those few seconds, sing the reminder of that laugh can bring smiles and further laughs as we go about the mundane aspects of the day. Reader's Digest might be right - 'Laughter is the Best Medicine'. I often look for the absurd in situations that create stress. This helps me reduce the anxiety potential. At times I have to remind myself to look for the smile or laugh, but it does help me relax even for a small moment.
