9-186 (5/7/22) -- Attacked!

Today brought a sunny and warm day with light wind and low humidity. I walked out to the library and picked up milk on the way home. I had great conversations with three friends this afternoon. It's always great to keep in touch even when we can't meet in person. Today we met by Skype, Zoom and phone. That's nothing if not flexible. <smile> Varied communication technologies are one plus that came out of the pandemic -- multiple virtual platforms to add to the traditional formats.

In the evening, I found seven bug bites on my right leg. I went outside without bug repellent for a short walk to Main Street. The breeze was brisk, so I didn't think I'd have any problems. Wrong, obviously. <sigh>  By bedtime the red welts turned hyper-itchy. I used the topical antihistamine ointment that helped for an hour or two at a time. I plan to go out tomorrow -- covered in repellent -- to get some lidocaine cream to numb spots when necessary.

Tonight, I chose a silly song to share my feelings. <grin> Hope it doesn't create problems for you. Stay Safe. Enjoy!
